Join us for a series of afternoon and evening lectures meant to help anyone turn their yard into an edible paradise. Beginner gardeners can benefit from talks on savvy vegetable   gardening strategies, while experts at small-scale growing can expand their skills with knowledge of perennials and maple syrup tapping. All can explore gardening beyond traditional crops with the series’ lectures on how novices can forage from the sea, eat flowers and grow your own medicine.

Let Hazel show you the math of how you can maximize your return on your gardening investment as a renter, landowner or homesteader.   Permaculture guilds, square-foot gardening, no weed beds, self-sufficient homesteads… what do these terms mean and are they really obtainable? For the beginner grower we will go over some of the easiest ways to get started, and for the advanced gardener we’ll examine a variety of known case-studies for their lessons learned.
