  • Tom Settlemire Community Garden 90 Maurice Drive Brunswick, ME 04011 (map)

Use the sun to preserve your harvest

Learn the importance of curing crops, and the proper storage of food items. Also, find out how to build and use a solar dehydrator to preserve the harvest. A variety of preservation options will be discussed.

Growing Literacy Series…

Thanks to the generosity of the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust, Curtis Memorial Library is pleased to host a series of hands-on workshops at the Tom Settlemire Community Garden.

Join us as in 2019 we relearn how to relax and read in the garden. Learn how to grow free plants, get produce without weeding, and create a productive space to relax and read. All garden workshops will include a parcel tour.

Unless otherwise noted, all programs will take place at the garden. The Tom Settlemire Community Garden is at the end of Maurice Drive in Brunswick, Maine. (For GPS use 90 Maurice Drive.) All programs are free and open to the public.

The Tom Settlemire Community Garden is a program of Brunswick Topsham Land Trust.
