Merrymeeting Food Council Reports
Food, Farms, and Fisheries Assessment (FFFA)
Initiated during the summer of 2015, the FFFA creates an inventory and map of the current state of local foods in the communities surrounding Merrymeeting Bay. This assessment identifies all aspects of the local food system, including:
Food producers
Farmer/fishermen-to-consumer sale locations (farmers' markets, CSAs, etc.)
Processing and distribution resources
Restaurants
Food banks and/or pantries
Food retailers
Waste management resources

Report from the 2012 Local Farms - Local Food Roundtable meeting, held by Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust (BTLT) and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust (KELT). At the meeting, BTLT and KELT convened farmers, distributors, nonprofits and government agencies, and buyers of local food to identify:
