FINE is a six-state network of nonprofit, public and private entities working together to transform our food system by increasing the amount of good, local food served in our region’s schools, hospitals, colleges and other institutions. The FINE network consists of non-profit organizations, government agencies, institutions, foundations, farms, food distributors, food processors, food service operators and others.

Land for Good: Working together to get more farmers on more land in New England and beyond.

New England Farmers Union: New England Farmers Union works to protect and enhance the economic well-being and quality of life of family farmers, fishermen, foresters, nursery growers and consumers in all six New England states.

New Entry Sustainable Farming Project: The New Entry Sustainable Farming Project’s (New Entry) mission is to improve our local and regional food systems by training the next generation of farmers to produce food that is sustainable, nutritious, and culturally-appropriate and making this food accessible to individuals regardless of age, mobility, ethnicity, or socio-economic status. In doing this work, we provide critical training, career development, and economic opportunity to new farmers.

NESAWG: Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Working Group, a regional network of organizations and individuals working together to create a more sustainable and secure regional food system — one that is economically viable, environmentally sound and socially just and produces safe and healthful food.

NESARE: Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE). USDA competitive grants program supporting agriculture that is profitable, environmentally sound, and good for communities.

Northwest Atlantic Marine Alliance: NAMA is a fishermen-led organization building a broad movement toward healthy fisheries and fishing communities. We build deep and trusting relationships with community based fisherman, crew, fishworkers and allies to create effective policy and market strategies.
