Femidish

Our mission is to amplify womxn’s voices by exploring the infinite ways they interact with food, and tell stories that challenge the idea that food is unimportant work until there are profits or fame to be had.

We aim to examine the various intersections of food and feminism and to celebrate womxn and their ability to nourish themselves, their families, their community, and one another. We hope that Femidish will serve as the table around which a diverse and supportive community may gather.

Beef And Dairy Network

The number one podcast for those involved or just interested in the production of beef animals and dairy herds.

The Leading Voices in Food

Our vision for The Leading Voices in Food podcast series is to offer wide-ranging perspectives and knowledge from researchers, community leaders, policymakers, farmers and more. We want to introduce new ideas and people, shift your thinking in topics you know well, and contribute to movement towards equity and resilience in the food system. Transcripts for each interview are also posted.

We feature topics across the food system spectrum such as food insecurity, obesity, agriculture, food access and equity, food safety, food defense, and food policy issues. The series is hosted by Dr. Kelly Brownell, director of the World Food Policy Center, and professor of public policy and psychology at Duke University. Guest hosts Sarah Zoubek and Jennifer Zuckerman also contribute to the series.

Real Food Media

At Real Food Media, we believe each one of us has a story to tell, and that sharing our stories strengthens our communities and our movements. Our two podcast series bring you stories from the food movement through a powerful combination of “book smarts” and “street smarts” (or is it soil savvy?). Real Food Reads, our long-standing book club and podcast, interviews the authors of today’s most important books at the intersection of food, politics, and culture. And our newest podcast series, Foodtopias, showcases the stories of workers, farmers, healers, ecologists, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color), womxn, and community organizers who are growing food & cultivating utopia. Together, Real Food Media podcasts offer you the inspiration you need to build your own food activist toolkit.

What is American Food?

What is American Food? is a podcast exploring the many stories that make up our food system. Through storytelling, we reveal how our U.S. food system is designed - identifying where we can most impact hunger relief, climate change, and economic stability for families everywhere.

Co-hosts Hannah Semler and Ali Berlow take a broad and deep dive into food systems, in a format that questions, informs, and discusses the nature of how we understand where our food comes from in the U.S. The first four episodes focuse on produce production in Mexico, developed over the last century to feed the U.S., and the food bank efforts that support millions of families who are food insecure in the U.S. We speak with business owners, nonprofits and funding institutions, as well as food systems practitioners in different sectors. Our focus is on lesser known stories about where the food we eat comes from and why, and the value of food for people and planet, in order to inform our future food systems design.
