Fairwinds Farm (Topsham):

WE ARE HIRING BERRY PICKERS!! Fairwinds Farm is hiring berry pickers! We start with strawberries in Mid-Late June, then move on to picking raspberries and blueberries! You must be at least 14 years old; have reliable transportation to and from our fields in Bowdoinham; and be able to work hard and stay focused while on the job. MidCoast Hunger Prevention Program & Merrymeeting Gleaners (Brunswick):

We are looking for a new Merrymeeting Gleaners Coordinator! This is a 30 hour per week benefits eligible position through MidCoast Hunger Prevention Program. The Merrymeeting Gleaners are a 100+ person network of volunteers that was formed in 2016 as part of the Merrymeeting Food Council’s work to increase access to nutritious food in the region. The Gleaners harvest surplus produce from over 30 local farms and distribute it to community members through a network of more than 30 partner organizations and groups. This is a great opportunity to join a strong community of volunteers and the Food Bank Team at MidCoast Hunger Prevention Program. Six Rivers Farm (Bowdoinham):

Our farm is hiring! We are hiring for full-time and part-time positions. Come join our fabulous crew and help us grow a wide range of organic vegetables! Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, be able to lift fifty pounds, and have a positive attitude.

FULL TIME

This position includes a wide range of farm work including planting, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing vegetables for sale, and other farm work. Pay: $15/ hour Monday- Friday 7am-4pm, switching to 6am-3pm for July and August, Starting May 31st until Thanksgiving

PART TIME

This position is for harvesting work, including picking peas, strawberries, and other produce grown on our farm. Pay: $13.50/ hour. Three mornings each week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8am-12pm. Starting May 31st through August 27th (with the possibility to extend work into the fall).
